PTR — Pressure Test Report
Pressure tests and documentation in a consistent workflow
PTR — Pressure Test Report organises pressure test recording and report preparation, from assembly identification to the PDF report. It brings together measurements, the procedure and tested product data, reducing manual transcription and maintaining a clear link between the product, operations performed and test result.
A common workflow adapted to the test bench
The solution provides a consistent approach for various test bench types, such as Italcontrol, Resato and Haskel Robojobs. Measurement import, data interpretation and checks are adapted to the bench and applicable procedure. The application can also be adapted to other bench types following analysis of the available data and definition of the configuration.
Identifying the assembly and operations performed
Record the order, serial number, procedure, valve type and rated pressure. The basic workflow supports one or two serial numbers. The template defines the test operations, and the operator can remove components that are not tested so the report reflects the actual configuration. Automatic completion of some information depends on the available data and configured integration.
Validation and warnings against the procedure
Checks cover pressures, durations and the rules applicable to the test. Max Drop Pressure compares the maximum pressure drop with the limit defined for the procedure. For certain bench types, the solution provides for revalidation in the application of tests marked PASS. Depending on the integration, validation may remain at bench level or take place in the application; the rules are defined for the customer’s configuration.
Traceability and accessible PDF reports
Generate Pressure test charts and documents, and find tests by order, part number or valve type. Where integration permits, product and customer data can be retrieved from the ERP. Gauge information is imported from the test bench when accessible; otherwise, it is entered and maintained in the application.
Protected records and adaptations for specific requirements
Completed records can be closed and locked, with unlocking restricted to the supervisor. Records of creation and last save, together with locking of records being edited, support simultaneous use. The solution provides for report versioning and extensions for drift dimensions, test medium and bench-specific information; the included configuration is agreed according to the customer’s procedures and requirements.
